The events of the game take place two years after Yuna and her guardians defeated Sin in Final Fantasy X, and peace was restored in Spira. Rikku (remember this cheerful Al-Bhed girl from the previous game?) finds a strange sphere that mysteriously shows an image resembling... Tidus, Yuna's one and only love! Rikku brings the sphere to Yuna, who now doesn't look any more like the shy, quiet girl we know from FFX, but rather like a cool action heroine in short pants and with a gun in each hand. Determined to discover the truth behind the mystery, Yuna organizes a journey of "sphere-hunting", to find more spheres scattered around the world, and perhaps to find Tidus...

The series underwent important changes in this game, especially gameplay-wise. The ATB (active time battle) system is back, after it had been replaced by turn-based combat in FFX. The battles develop at a quicker pace than earlier games in the Final Fantasy series, with more emphasis on quick decision and timing. You have a party of three characters: Yuna and her friends Rikku and Paine (yes, you control only girls in this game!). The job system similar to that of Final Fantasy V is back, with the possibility to learn various abilities and to freely customize your characters' classes. Jumping and climbing are now possible in certain locations. Also, the gameplay is non-linear, untypically for console RPGs. Right from the beginning you have your airship, and you can explore the entire world at your pleasure.
Role-Playing (RPG) Kingdom Hearts II

Platform : PlayStation 2

Editor : Square Enix, Ltd.

Developer : Square Enix Co., Ltd.

Players : Offline: 1

Release Date : 29.09.2006

Sora, Donald and Goofy are back in the third installment (second for PS2) of Kingdom Hearts series. The game continues where Chain of Memories left off. (If you haven't played the previous two games, no worries because Jiminy Cricket have documented the entire adventure in his journal). The trio awakens from their sleep and goes to Twilight Town. When the game begins, you will first have control over a boy name Roxas who wields a dual-Keyblade. He is in town trying to enjoy the remainder of his summer vacation with his friends but he keeps having flash-backs of someone else's memories. When he meets up with Sora, the two learns they have a special connection with one another. Afterwards, the group will continue their search for King Mickey and Riku. This time, they will travel to more different worlds and work with various characters from the Disney and Final Fantasy universes. It includes worlds from not only Disney's animated movies, but other movies as well like Pirates of the Caribbean and TRON.In Kingdom Hearts II, Sora and his friends will battle various enemies including the Heartless from KH1 but also a group of enemies called Nobodies. Nobodies are "Nonexistent beings" who are under the control of Organization XIII - a group of 13 black-coated members that Sora and his friends have reduced down to just half. Gameplay is very similar to Kingdom Hearts 1: you will mostly control Sora with Donald and Goofy helping you out with their magic and attacks. You can use various magic powers yourself and you can use Summon which will call upon the aid of special Disney characters that will temporarily fight along side Sora for a brief period of time. As the trio level ups and progress in the game they will gain new abilities that they can equip. Other familiar features include the Gummi ship and synthesizing new items. What's different is that this time Sora will control 2 keyblades instead of just one. Also, later when Mickey joins the party, if Sora is KO'd he will have the option of having Mickey take over and you will then control Mickey. There are 3 gauges to pay attention to: the HP & MP gauges and the Drive Gauge. When the Drive Gauge fills up, Sora will be able to execute a Drive that can transform Sora to something different depending on who is in his party.
Action / Role-Playing (RPG)
